Dear Daniel,
First, thank you so much for all your excellent writing and speaking on issues of extreme importance. How to best proceed in Iraq is a perplexing question. It is difficult for the average American to know what is the right answer, because there's a vacuum of information and ideas in the general media. The various ideas are intended to make one side look foolish, rather than seek understanding. Too many egos at stake.
