Is history repeating itself?

The evolution of the present Iranian regime under "Fuehrer" Khamenei and his Goebbels-like President is typical, if not of a direct influence, at least of a common pattern: Growing influence of, and privileges for, its "SS" (Revolution Guards), fabricated elections, violent suppression of internal dissents and of uprisings in some parts of the "Empire", increasing radicalization (including among presently mainstream supporters of the regime), not to mention support to similar groups and leaders elsewhere, and (at least covert) pursue of WMD and rockets. Let's hope history will stutter and not repeat itself, that natural decay will happen before a new WW blows out.
