Reader comment on item: Nazi Propaganda for the Arab World

Could anyone tell me how many Muslims fought for or actively supported the Axis, and how many fought for or actively supported the Allies (especially France, Britain, the USSR)? If the number which fought for the Allies is equal to or greater than the number which fought for the Axis, does this mean that Islam is the natural ally of Western democracy and/or Soviet communism?
