Winning? Different rules & a different game!Reader comment on item: Israel is Winning Submitted by Joshua Reuben (Australia), Aug 11, 2002 at 03:40 It is hard to state that Israel is winning when the Palestinians are playing a different game. The Israeli side wants to win ( = peace & security), while the Palestinian side's wants the other side to lose (= kill as many Jews as possible)! How do we stop suicide murderers? maybe blowing up their families houses will make them think twice. Maybe the wall will stop them. You cant teach people brought up on hate that killing Jews is good, but through deterence you can make them think twice about it. Maybe it will take something like demolishing a Palestinian village for each new terror attack in order for them to learn. After seeing the charred remains of a coffee house on Allenby Street in April 2002, I no longer feel sorry for these people who's sole aim is to murder. I am out of empathy for gazans who cheer at every act of savagery. And I am sick of Yossi Beilin's Chicanery.
