Hmmm....Reader comment on item: Terrorists Read Me Submitted by Garry Lockwood (Australia), Feb 1, 2010 at 22:23 Well, as a psychologist, he wouldn't have been killing anyone, of course. And he could have requested not to go, on cultural grounds. I rather suspect the army might have found another assignment for a devout Muslim who didn't want to deploy to that area of the world. But in the end, why did he pull the trigger? It was his choice to do so, his response to the world.
