Enemies of the Open Society

America has been the champion of free and open societies ever since it was established as an independent country.

America led the fight against Nazism and defeated a totalitarian ideology which threatened to destroy free and open societies around the world. America led the fight against Communism ( Marxism, Leninism, Bolshevism, Maoism ) and defeated a totalitarian ideology which threatened to destroy free and open societies around the world.

Until November 2008 America led the fight against Islamo-fascism, a totalitarian ideology ( masquerading as a religion ) which threatens to destroy free and open societies around the world.

In November 2008 a battle weary American people elected a President who is either totally misinformed about the seriousness of the Islamo-fascist threat to America and free and open societies around the world or secretly sympathises with the goals of the Islamo-fascists.

I, Karl Raimund Popper, weep in despair as I witness a great champion of free and open societies being quietly and surreptitiously turned into an ally of the Islamo-fascist enemies of free and open societies around the world.

God save America and free and open socities around the world.
