Reader comment on item: 'Walking Back the Cat' On Chalabi

Submitted by Patti (United States), Jun 23, 2004 at 03:36

It all seems like a novel of intrigue, but "plausible". Having been a diplomate in Europe in the 70s, I saw first hand the scorn that State had for the Defense Department. The most fascinating aspect is that Iran used the decryted code to state that it had been decrypted???
Thanks,
Patti
