President Obama has agreed to allow six gitmo detainees temporary asylum at the White House!Reader comment on item: Obama and Netanyahu Meet: What's Next? Submitted by pdm (United States), May 20, 2009 at 13:14 Oh, this is a magnanimous individual! What clarity! What leadership. Mr. Obama says, "My family will really enjoy having the company of these fine individuals in the White House with us. "Once the American people see my leadership, they will follow by inviting the remaining detainees into their homes!" Land of the Free! Home of the Brave! And since this is only temporary (think Katrina temp housing), it will not be too inconvenient for the White House staff and secret service.
