Obama and Netanyahu meetReader comment on item: Obama and Netanyahu Meet: What's Next? Submitted by Jerald K. Rome (United States), May 19, 2009 at 20:08 I was surprised at the last sentence in this article. I was always under the impression that: 1. Truman, although he recognized Israel, immediately placed an embargo on arms sales to Israel knowing full well that the British were arming the arabs to the teeth. 2. Kennedy, although on the surface seemed friendly to Israel, did everything he could to prevent her from becoming a nuclear power and tried to thwart Israel's nuclear relationship with France. 3. Clinton, also seemed friendly to Israel but his arm twisting and complicity in "Oslo" did more harm to Israel then perhaps any other action by a U.S. President. It led to arafat's return and over 1000 Jewish deaths. Am I wrong to have formed these opinions or is my attitude based on incorrect information?
