Punishment to women enjoined in Koran!

Reader comment on item: Bridges TV, a Wife's Beheading, and Honor Murder

Submitted by B.N.Gururaj (India), Mar 3, 2009 at 22:01

Muslim Public Affairs Committee's statement is pure and unadulterated hog wash! Let them read their own scripture properly. Koran explicitly enjoins men to "scourge" the women if they are disobedient. What is scourging, if it is not domestic violence? Are these leaders like Ostrich with its head buried in sand? Do they think that non-muslims do not read Koran?
