i read your reply here in danielpipes, one of my regular hauntings lol, and found it quite insightful to knowing about your diminishing of faith.

looks to me like you already know what the problem is. islam is based on revelation from ALLAH. key word : ALLAH. so that means the rest is subservient. that includes us and our ations since HE created them both. isnt it only natural to heed the call of ALLAH and not listen to ones own assumptions?

any religion that can be molded with time is faulty and is essentially a rat ship. islam means to shape our natures. it is not some man made idea subject to alterations from time to time very much like the rollercoaster ride which human observation is.

its clearly a dilemma of choosing for you, but i frankly dont see whats hard about it....... the choiuce is simple..... choose ALLAH, the maker of all and all of our thinking, the infinite one and the truth.. or choose the creation of ALLAH, helpless and non existent in itself without ALLAH.
