Dear Dr. Pipes,

It is very clear to anyone honest who has read your writings, that there is absolutely nothing "hateful" towards Muslims or anyone else in your work. Quite the contrary. Fighting against promoters of the poisonous ideology of Islamism isn't hate. Only the dishonest or those in total denial could interpret your words and intentions and twist and warp your meaning to their own satisfaction -- because it's the only defense of their indefensible positions.

Sarcasm is so weak -- Mr. Lott embarrassed himself and doesn't even realize it. His outer child is showing. Never mind.

Two satirical headlines:

1) "UN Demands Israel Supply Electricity, Rockets to Hamas. Says Middle East violence won't end until Israel gives rockets to Hamas terrorists for use on Israeli citizens." (Jewlarious)

2) "Headlines from the Year 2020. Army announces new "fair trade" rules of engagement. Enemy must be given equal weapons before fight begins." (People's Cube)

To the likes of those who habitually demonize you, these headlines are not satirical. Rather, anything less would be categorized as "hateful." So much for their mentality.

It's truly great that you now have Brooke Goldstein and an MEF Legal Project to defend you with the protection of the law when those who would totally misrepresent you, your intentions and your words in the media believe they have some kind of twisted "right" to demonize you -- because of their fanatic desire to dominate every avenue of thought -- because they believe "reason be damned," and because they have no respect whatever for the rules of civilized conduct in human interaction.

You have shown many times on this Weblog that you have at first gone through normal channels to object to such mischaracterizations and misrepresentations -- by writing to them, and pointing out their errors. Under normal circumstances, anyone committing error to the point of misquotations would simply apologize and print an apology and retraction. But not so with bully leftist promoters of totalitarian soviet-style doublespeak and truth inversion, or Islamists, neither of which groups have any fundamental notions of simple right and wrong, to say the least.

So now you are armed with our own laws, which they themselves have forced you to resort to, and which they have mistakenly believed exists solely for the purpose of turning against our own society -- with their "lawfare."

Congratulations !

It must be very wearing to withstand the onslaught of these libelous abuses and slanders. I'm sure I speak for so many when I say -- With much gratitude and many, many thanks for your brilliance, determination and fortitude,
