Just a suggestion

A friend of mine works for the Chinese government. It, of course, does not worry about human rights such as America and Israel do. He suggested this solution to the problem of martyrs who die or kill to go to heaven. Instead of just imprisoning these men, his suggestion was this:

"A devout Muslim will not be admitted to heaven if he is drunk. Force him to drink alcohol before you execute him. The lists of volunteers to do Allah's work will vanish"

A little crude, but that would deter the next men, knowing that they would not be going to heaven to their virgins. Just a thought.

This resembles the wrap-them-in-pigskin ideas. But Islamic theology is not so crude as to be deflected by such schemas.
