The realization that we are witnessing a mental health pandemic is difficult to wrap ones brain around. Those who have internalized the mythology have already made the first step toward a personality disorder. The severity will depend on the extent the individual acts out the mythology. This applies to any mythology, If the deity justifies violence, then only the set and setting is required to animate action. Before a suicide bomber explodes him/her 'self' in an act to gain access to paradise, he has experienced homicidal/suicidal ideation, meaning he has idealized the act as the ultimate act of "Submission" and access to paradise and access to the deity. The result is a "Muslim Personality disorder" and millions are afflicted.
