Reading your comments twice.Reader comment on item: Admitting Israel's Unilateral Withdrawals a Mistake Submitted by Lynn (United States), May 29, 2008 at 09:47 I have been a poor judge of character before so I will preface what I am about to say with that: I remember watching a interview with Andrea Mitchell and Sharon shortly before his grave illness and it struck me how impatient she was with him while he laborously spoke to her in English. It seemed to me that she was angry simply because he was Jewish and there were Muslims who wanted to kill him and in fact wipe the People of Israel off the map and as a result we Americans were to be wiped off the face of the earth (I hear the chants "Death to Isreal." "Death to America". Somehow these Muslims must have good reason to want to do this. Finally he looked at her and said that he wished people knew a different side of the People of Israel. It's music and arts etc. I found it very sad that a people should have to spend their lives defending their right to exist and ward off angry criticisms of those who blame them for being attacked. I am not arguing your points by any means but would like to hear what some solutions might be keeping in mind that with Israel we tend to strain at every gnat while swallowing Muslims camels.
