The massacre of the Armanious family is a heinous crime, regardless of whether or not it was motivated by radical Islamists, Muslims, or murders of revenge. One cannot reach a conclusion about the motives of the criminals--if indeed McDonald and Sanchez were the murderers--- if there are still doubts hanging in the air.

Either way, it still gives me chills to think that this family believed they were coming to a safe haven by emigrating to the United States, only ending up being brutally murdered instead. If these murders were hate crimes, religiously motivated by radical Islamists, then our country is in big trouble.
