Looking at US efforts in Iraq, I cannot help but wonder, what is the overal vision or strategy that is to be achieved You know, watching the daily march of activity makes me lose the context completely.
The last time i had time to reflect upon the general situation in Iraq, i think i came to the conclusion that through Iraq, the whole middle East will be plunged into war. Just imagine the current tension between the SHIAS and SUNNIs with iraq: at some point it could get bloody and neighbouring countries like Saudi Arabia and Iraan might be forced to intervene to help their co-religionists. This will result in an all-out war.
I think the Americans, or can I say the Neo-cons, saw this clearly and that is why they insisted on the IRAQ project.
