I don't know Mr. Pipes. This one sounds more like a mental pathology - a sociopath or whatever. I'm not sure this is really a manifestation of Islamism per se. If you want to make the point that Islamism and the Sharia treat women horribly, there are plenty of much more obvious and straightforward ways to make that point.

For the rest of you, he used the words "Islamist Rapist", not "Islamic Rapist". The difference is subtle, yet significant. Westerners, such as myself, use terms like "Islamist" or "Radical Islam" to differentiate between the mysogynystic, anti-semitic, hateful, intolerant forms of Islam and the other more moderate forms.
