Apparently most commentators on this site: www.danielpipes.org have one thing in common, that is, they all share anti-Muslim and anti-Islam sentiments or perhaps pro-Zionism views. There is nothing wrong with that. I am a Muslim Arab American and I have pro-Islamic and anti-Zionist views and believe in open forum dialogues even the most offensive ones. As long as we present reason and academic quest to know and exchange our views with the understanding that we can all co-live and exist at the end as one human family despite our settled convictions, we can express our views in full scale.

You can and I can being on different sides exchange millions of statements and views without ever harming each other and without ever extending our beliefs beyond mental activities which might in the worst scenario breed hate, anger, and outrage, but we all understand that if we were each other neighbor, we must continue to treat each other as neighbors with respect, kindness, and at minimum of no harm to each other. This is one option we can both consider and maturely exercise, or else we can all shut up and acknowledge that we are not mature enough to have a decent dialogue because we are unable or unwilling to take the heat which comes with opposing views.

Otherwise, we all must be ready for the disaster. I slander you, you slander me, We both turn into cosmopolitan enemies and somehow believe that only one of us could exist on this planet. Needless to say, this is the beggining of every war throughout history, and my experience tells me that not too many people in life are so eager to go to war. I believe that any war starts with failure and end up with misery: failure to accommodate the opponent, and misery because there are no winners at the end. Some must kill and be killed. That is human misery which we call war.

However, tell me why is it OK for some of the commentators on this site who apparently have some hot views about "Hero" Kromberg and "Terrorist" accused of terrorism charges who are undergoing judicial proceedings like Dr. Alarian to patronize the abuse and excessive views of Hero Kromberg who is an officer of the court and who has ethical obligations to his profession the least of which is to remain neutral and impartial to the accused even if it was his own enemy?

The independence and the impartiality of the judicial system is the work of a noble society and a milestone of human civilization in its greatest endeavor. Why we never accpet the judicial proceedings as the ultimate and exclusive forum to cast a legal and moral judgment on others? Why Kromberg himself being an officer of the court never learned to be respectful of the jury system and their decisions as being final and representative of justice unless appealed further where appeal is permitted?

Some of us got disgusted at the OJ Simpson jury verdict, but to be a true American, we had to respect the finality of the decision of the jury and the court as binding and as being the fairest we could have. What if someone of us or be it the prosecutors of OJ were so upset at the verdict and felt so strongly that OJ is guilty and decided to take justice in their own hands and use the legal system to fabricate more charges for OJ to be tried on alleging that since they believe OJ was guilty, OJ must be punished by every way plausibly possible? Regardless of our own opinions on this issue, the alternative is so ugly if we do not respect the verdict of the jury or the court. This will open the door for disastrous chaos that no one can stop forever. This allows your ideological enemy to treat you the same way one day if he happened to be from the Aryan Nation, a Skinhead, or a Neo-Nazi, or even an advocate of Al-Qaeda.

You just never know what kind of deal you will get into if you have to endure legal proceedings, and you do not have to be wrong or guilty at all to endure legal proceedings. What's good for the goose is good for the gender, and the best rule to live by is the Golden Rule. This will guarantee the safety of all of us and not the least Kromberg's interest as an officer and as someone who could have the fate of Libby Scooter one day, specially if some of your wishes come true for him. Who knows what the future hides? Twenty years ago, Saddam Hussein was hanging people in the gallows, but we lived long to see him hanged in a very savage way by his enemies. Most recent, we saw Libby Scooter face criminal charges when few years ago he was the defense lawyer to someone accused of same charges under the Clinton administration. Nobody is above disaster even the most innocent of us, so let's stay humble, fair, and reasonable because what goes around, comes around, the Karma Law if you believe in that.
