by Daniel Pipes http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/2010/08/are-you-coming-to-give-birth I arrived today in New Zealand and noted that the "Passenger Arrival Card" asks the usual questions about one's identity, purpose for travel, money carried – as well as this one (#8): "Are you coming to New Zealand for medical treatment or consultation or to give birth?" Comment: This is the wave of the future, I suspect, a way of preempting the phenomenon of anchor babies that other governments will imitate.
