Ayaan Hirsi Ali left in the nick of time

Reader comment on item: The West's First Niqab-Covered Public Official?

Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), May 28, 2007 at 23:29

Well, it looks like the Netherlands is standing up to the menacing brigands who threatened her, and killed the film maker. As long as Arab Aryanism defines a segment of the population, and they are not holding themselves accountable for their actions - it would be a good idea for that segment to pay for heightened tension. Call it a "terrorism fighting tax" and maybe then, they will get the message that they are not meeting the standard expected of anyone. If not, all their bleating about they being discriminated against will amount to sound and fury signifying nothing.
