The Road Map to Hell

Reader comment on item: Arguing over "Does Israel Need a Plan?"

Submitted by Arlinda DeAngelis (United States), May 2, 2003 at 00:23

The underlying principle guiding American foreign policy is that "liberal democratic nations" insure the peace because liberal democratic nations do not make war on one another. It has worked in Europe and Asia and will work in the Middle East if applied to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The problem is not Israel. Israel is a liberal democratic nation. The problem is the corrupt regime of Arrafat's non-governmental organization which rules the Palestinians. Unless this thug organization transforms itself into a legitimate liberal democratic nation there can be no peace according to the principles of American foreign policy.

Transforming the ngo PLO into a liberal democratic nation defeats the purpose for which it exists, the extermination of Israel and the enrichment of Arrafat and his appointees. Democracy, freedom and peace have nothing whatever to do with the creation of a Palestinian state. Money, Israeli extermination and terrorism is at the core of this half century nightmare.

This is a roadmap to nowhere. In the interest of freedom and democracy, Israel should be defended unconditionally by the Western powers against imperial theocratic pan- Arabism with its terrorism and tyranny.
