Beware of Wolves in Sheep's Clothing

Reader comment on item: Next Steps in Iraq

Submitted by Graham Rael-Brook (United States), Apr 26, 2003 at 00:37

Islamists may be on the ropes at the moment, but they have not been knocked out senseless.
It doesn't take a genius to predict they will have sufficient cunning to pose as moderates temporarily while the coalition forces present a viable power. As that power is handed over with delighted relief by the coalition to what will be considered moderate hands, the Islamists will once again reveal themselves and seize the opportunity to take over with all the violence that is required.

We need to look to what is being taught in all the schools in Iraq and I believe we will see a young population being preened in hatred with a need for revenge, eager to join with and refresh these forces of extremist evil.
