Reader comment on item: Pretending Not to Profile Muslims

Submitted by clara (Canada), Oct 24, 2006 at 17:34

the general attitude... is putting fancy words to create an ugly message. STOP warring islam, i am a convert learning and realizing the pure beauty of islam i have come to it, being one out the of the thousands that made islam the fastest growing religion in the world.

Do you realize that when talks take place about issues like oppression it really ends-up oppressing simple people who follow the faith, and if the negativity was to be realized in a speech about pure negativity then issues like build-up hatred would not happen in the world. People arent dumb, no matter how twisted and air-brushed the message is, its still the same message. So i kindly ask to stop the pure hatred, and instead of hate...educate (yourself before others)!!
