Media, terrorists, moderates and what makes a difference

Reader comment on item: Omran Salman v. CAIR and MPAC
in response to reader comment: Are all muslims cursed? Or do we make ourselves cursed with hatred?

Submitted by ezra Ben-Meir (Israel), Sep 29, 2006 at 03:53

I do not believe that Muslims are cursed. The problem is that the majority (99%?) of terrorists are Muslims. So where is that voice of the moderate Muslims? Are there no advertissements of such? Where are they hiding? How come they do not flay the media for refusing to give the moderate Muslims a major role in the media instead of a non-role? There are ombudsmen of Newspapers in most democratcally ruled countries, how come they have not been challenged about the skewed- if it is- representation of the moderate Muslims versus ther overwhelming voice of Muslim terrorists?

Please, what are the addreses of the moderate Muslim organizations? Their internet sites?
Israelis wanting to burn down the Al-Aksa mosque? Yes, there are such, but the Israeli government, police and security forces work overtime to prevent this. When was a mosque burned down by Jews anywhere? Where are there areas of Jews anywhere in the world where the local security forces are afraid to enter?
Local Arabs shop and move freely in predominantly Jewish areas. The same cannot be said of Jews in many Muslim areas.
Alas! Appeasement to Muslim minorities in the West will only lead to more and more appeasemnt. Sharia forward march!
