Lack of ideological reasons for the Homicide Bombers

Reader comment on item: The [Suicide] Jihad Menace

Submitted by Sandra Reynolds (United States), May 29, 2002 at 13:44

A friend forwarded an article to me that mentioned that among the adult bombers, there were some who were terminally ill, some who were criminals as you mentioned above, and in the case of the two young women, some were young girls who had been in disgraced circumstances with their families -- the bombing would "restore" them to their families' good graces. Was there an article in the JPost about this? I don't remember this info coming out in the Western Press at all.

Also, keep your pro-Israel info coming--it gives us some good ammunition. :)
