Media spin need to improve

Reader comment on item: CAIR, Captive of Conspiracism

Submitted by lynn (United States), Jul 28, 2006 at 10:25

Last night on CNN Wolf flew over Haifa and the North illustrating that it is basically deserted. What puzzles me is that when the media show and talk about the Lebanese that have left their homes they are refugees in desperate need of "aid" - so far to the tune of 300 million according to "Jan" the spokesman for the UN people.

Why are the Lebanese considered refugees and we are not ? The US media is trying , but not hard enough, I don't think they should have played the AlQuida tape over and over yesterday either leave that to al Jazeera. Why is it so hard for Israeli civilians to look like victims/refugees ?

New topic I also can't fathom why Israel always seems like the bully even after we are attacked. The reporters still talk about land we "took" in '67 and in 6 day war when that happened after being attacked by three countries. I was shocked last night ot hear the latest Bush Adminstration idiotic idea to give Shabaa farms back up by the three borders - what would that do?

Enough is enough we need more of a safety zone not less. I would not give back anything. Why do the Europeans keep making Israel out to be the builly and insist on concessions. Are we to be punished for inflicting more casualties when we defend Israel ? Most of the original Israelis were European first so why do they have no affinity to help or support us ? Worse why do they hate Israel and side with the Arab extremists? is it fear or guilt ?
