Time to Call Their Bluff!

Reader comment on item: Arabs Still Want to Destroy Israel

Submitted by Shirley Ann Newman (United States), May 21, 2002 at 04:09

Perception should not be underestimated. The international community, apart from the United States, regards the Palestinians as the underdog, thus worthy of compassion and support. I see no option but for Israel to call the Palestinians' bluff, relinquish land in exchange for peace, and then, if there are continued attempts to deny existence to the sovereignty of Israel, the world will have to face up to the underlying truth.
