While in Colombia on two occasions: August 2004 and in February, 2005, I watched CNN International - on both occcasions I had the fortune or misfortune to watch to diferent documentaries on CNN International, produced or at least written and starrring thomas friedamn ( capital letters not used on purpose).

August 2004: the documentary about life in the West Bank - I think thomas friedman finally gets it - the colonists are nre not settlers but residents of towns . I am shocked and disgusted at seeing him hug palestinian mayors and walk almost hand in hand with them referring to them as my great friends

Feb 2005 a documentary about hi- tech India. Interviews a wealthy Muslim entrepreneur

thomas friedman: " is it not true that young muslims will not be suicide bombers if they have the hopes to provide for themselves andtheir family and become succesful?"

It is a well known fact that many of the masterminds of many attempted bombings are muslims with engineering degrees and educated in the west.

You yourself have quoted Shimon Peres and Arnold Schwarzenneger saying this very thing.

Obviously thomas friedman has to peddle this nonsense to so that CNN and NYT will retain his services. The truth be damned.
