Dear David,

In defense of Dr. Daniel Pipes, you simply didn't research his web site, and you posted your comment in the wrong place.

The fact of the matter is that he allows, on his own web site, for commentary that isn't relevant to the subject at hand.

That said, I recommend that you search for his other pages and you will find that he addresses the issues to raise and probably to your liking and agreement.

It is easy to speak to one of your issues - why Denmark. You are not aware, I believe, that an issue that concerns Dr. Pipes is the danger of Islamism. In that respect Dr. Pipes has observed elsewhere on this web site that it is Europe's rise of "Civilizational" (his term) is occurring on the Right, not Center, or Left. He also observed that a huge number of not vetted Muslim migrants and refugees have entered Europe with open hands. And now he observes how Denmark, of all the EU states has most successfully addressed this issue.

Regarding the other - very important issues you raise - I would guess that Dr. Pipes would agree with you on all of them. In fact, if you simply post your observation or question on the correct page, I can almost guarantee that he will take the time at least to make a single line comment. All you need to do is say something significant, but on the correct page.

However, let me warn you from my own knowledge!. Dr. Pipes does not see his mission as defending Israel. He observes that there are many sites that do that very well. Dr. Pipes is interested in the Middle East. And Israel is a part of it. But since your comments are relevant to the Middle East since Israel is in it, I think he will consider your views. Therefore, I recommend that you present your views in the correct context of his pages here and the topics he raise. I use his search engine on it (here) quite often. You will find, if you use it, that it will guide to the appropriate place where you can post your appropriate Israel-focused issues!
