Mujahedeen-e Khalq - To Be Revisted?

Dear Dr. Daniel Pipes,

I know that you are fully aware that in Europe it is the Right Parties and Extreme Right Parties that are the most favorable to the United States and Israel. I know that you recognize this Irony in history and that your position is that these parties need time to mature, evolve, and reform.

Neither you or I are on the "inside" of these institutions because we are Americans, and their history isn't ours.

That brings me to Iran and Mujahedeen-e Khalq. This is the most powerful opposition organization that is both against the Shah and the current Theocracy. It seems that the source of your objection is the fact that it's roots are on the Left (Communism? Socialist? or Marxism?). However, it is the USA & its CIA that in 1953 caused the fall of it's Leftist leader and support of the hated Shah.

Perhaps there is a way out. It is common for Socialist regimes to call themselves Democratic. But what makes for true democracies is Parliamentarianism - an independent Legislature, and the Rule of Law.

I think it is now the right time (in history) for you to re-evaluate your stand on this organization. Is it a Cult now or is it a Party and Iran's Resistance? Is it, for example, the equivalent of the Stern Gang of Israelis War of Independence of 1948? I think yo understand my drift? If so, I hope you re-evaluate your views on this entity. This organization also reminds how you were surprised that President Trump's Foreign Policy was so consistent with your views, even though you found him unpalatable (his personal character).

"Woman, Life, Freedom." "Death to the Dictator." These are cries in the streets of Iran. That's what the call is obviously by the Mujahedeen-e Khalq, no? So what is there against this organization that you don't like today? You even met its leader, a Woman, who also covers her hair out of choice and has an illustrious family background as well as a husband leader.
