Implications of Desperation More Deeply Felt-Keenly Observed as Refugee Status Transcends Ukrainian Apprehensions - Now They are Russian

Reader comment on item: The Campaign to Treat All Illegal Migrants Like Ukrainian Refugees

Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Sep 28, 2022 at 13:31

If there were any reservations as to how/why the trust in the Russian government had been serioulsy misunderstood, it is beginning to appear that whatever such reservations there were amongst the citizens (both natural and adopted) are evident in their desperation not to be caught up in the Russian Leader's delusion of a greater former Soviet empire. Now the reality of refugee status is more compelling as the destination nations are being inundated with more than any realized might need temporary residency until the darkness passes.
Is anyone esle seeing how dense this darkened cloud of sinister intentions really is? Like it is mentioned elsewhere, this will not end until all avenues of returning to former Soviet dominance are explored and dredged for any remnant desires of totalitarian subjugation (by referendum?) like that being exploited in the Russian held enclaves in the Ukraine. It is not going to end there until all former areas of Soviet influence are brought to account for their allegiances.
