Massad and Salman Rushdie (JERUSALEM POST)

Reader comment on item: Why the Death Edict on Salman Rushdie?

Submitted by Michael Weiss (United States), Aug 23, 2022 at 13:13

Remarkable story today: rather like Protocols of the Elders of Zion Redux (https://www.jpost.com/international/article-715333)
HEADLINE: "Mossad 'likely' behind Salman Rushdie stabbing, claims Denver professor:
Nader Hashemi, Director of the Center for Middle East Studies at the University of Denver, said Rushdie's attacker may have been convinced to commit the attack by a Mossad agent."

Daniel, here a prototypical trope of classical European anti-Semitism merging with a pervasive Middle-Eastern theme of hidden Zionist conspiracies. A brazen effort to deflect from unfavorable reportage in the West regarding Chautauqua stabbing to the neck.

Yes, I wrote a whole book on this phenomenon: https://www.danielpipes.org/books/hidden.php.
