Making Mistake That Religion and Compatibility with Human Rights Can Be Achieved

Reader comment on item: Human Rights in Iraq
in response to reader comment: If the golden rule was understood by Muslims, Islam would not have existed it does.

In the scheme of Islam being called the replacement religion to displace the Gospel message of Christianity and the misguided idea that the 'Golden Rule' could ever be implemented in the Muslim mindset provides the greatest contrast of how incompatible the two religious beliefs and practices could ever be.The thought that Islam has ever been empathic to the Gospel message can never be sustained for the very reason that most of the world rejects the Savior and is in rebellion to the Gospel even today. Look at the massive attacks on Christian enclaves in Muslim terrorities (as well as eslewhere) and the droves of refugees escaping for the lack of the Golden Rule, let alone worshipping the Savior.
The Hebrew Scriptures predicted this and the New Testament confirmed this, even in the testimony of the Savior Himself. Religious rules wrongly applied bring the greatest judgement, just as Reader Prashant's comments imply.
