in response to reader comment: Extra: "Turkey's Erdogan says he will visit Saudi Arabia in February"

As the saying goes, 'know your enemy;' in deference to that, the recent declaration of the renamed Türkiye provides yet another clue that Leader Erdogan is still trying to gain some restored sense of relevancy in a world that still does not understand where Türkiye fits into the general scheme of being reconized as a contender in the international view of the Middle East.
Sec of State Clinton did nothing to lend to any stabilization; neither membership in the NATO club, nor the 4 years of dealing with the former 45th American Administration of former President Trump; and now does a renewed connection after the Khashoggi incident against the Saudi's offer Leader Erdogan some hope of escaping the politcal and financial stagnation that Türkiye faces:how should the West read this?
Does being left out of the Abrahamic Accords put Türkiye in an untenable situation if the Saudi's sign on?
