It's the Insurgents

Reader comment on item: Defending and Advancing Freedom

Submitted by Walter (Canada), Nov 3, 2005 at 14:32

Don't you people get it? It's not the Iraqis that are prolonging the war in Iraq; it's the insurgents from Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia (our friends), and Egypt. Surely the Iraqis want peace if they are willing to risk their lives in order to vote. The only way to stop the violence in Iraq is for Europe and USA to confront the Muslim nations that are supporting the insurgency or for the US to continue the war until all the insurgents are defeated; and this may take 22 years.
