No aid or comfort to the MEK

Reader comment on item: The Fight for Iran

Submitted by Kepha (United States), Nov 27, 2021 at 20:21

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the MEK once boast they were the first "revolutionary fighters" into the "nest of spies" back in 1979? I have no admiration for the mad mullahs' regime, but the MEK represent a thoroughly malevolent mix of Muhammad's militancy and Marx, and as such deserve no aid or comfort from the American people.

Best to those Iranians who walked around American and Israeli flags painted on sidewalks. But, let the Iranians figure out their own way to rid themselves of the mullah--cracy (I refuse to dignify it by the term theocracy: "Theocracy" was coined by Flavius Josephus in 79 A.D. to describe the Jewish polity, and it means rule of God, whether his deputies be a charismatic prophet like Moses, the Shophetim, a dynastic monarchy, a line of priest kings as under the Maccabbees, or under the Messiah himself).
