Wrong View of Torah Does not Make Wrong Interpretation Right

Reader comment on item: How to Live as Long as Methuselah
in response to reader comment: Rules

One of the main reasons the world is in the turmoil it finds itself in is that violations of its eternal premises are not merely accomplished by the Jewish people: Abraham is the father of the Jewish nation, but was not an original Jewish person. The Torah still governs the entirety of humanity, a message not learned yet today.
Yeshua's, Jesus Christ's main argument with the religious authorities (or more precisely the issues they had with Him) was their insistence that the traditions were to be enforced instead of the tenets of the Torah; form, not function. It is still the basis of the rejection of its precepts today, even by supposed 'faux Christians.'
