Notice how moralizing has replaced analyzing

The advert for the position highlights the applicant's moral virtue above anything else. This is more appropriate for a pastoral or missionary position rather than an academic one. It's as if research and analysis were secondary to the woke attributes. Personally, I'd rather learn from an brilliant rogue with an unconventional mind than from a predictably dull conformist with all the right views. Is this a college or a monastic order? I think the latter. No heretics allowed.
