Continuing Crises - How It Will All Come Together - Or Fall Apart

Reader comment on item: Syria's Looming Water Calamity

Here we are, some six or seven years later; and although the more compelling threat of ISIL of the time is somewhat abated, the posturing of the Iranian Islamic Regime and the empire fawning ambitions of Turkey are still as compelling as they continue as well causing turmoil and disasters in the region. One might have asked: when will all of this stop? It is believed to have been answered by this juncture.
Humanitarian issues have worsened with no proximal end in sight. One observer mentioned the Biblical implications of a dried up Euphrates in connection with future combat expeditions a nd expectations and that is not all that far off from what is seen now. Let us not forget the Russian stake in this either. How much will they endure before coming to the conclusion of how much more happens before becoming another Afghanistan? When will they put pressure on the Iranian Islamic Regime before Russian assets are fully compromised? Anyone?
