Dr Pipes,

Some members of the right are calling for #CancelYale because the founder was a slave owner. Now many on twitter are calling for #CancelMuhammad because he was a slave owner too! Do the mosques also get cancelled?

PS: For the readers the Islamic historical tradition tells us that Muhammad indeed owned slaves the likes of Mariyya al-Qibtiyya and an African man, yes an African man, his name is Bilal.

Any Muslim who tells us that Muhammad Bilal was not a slave owned by Muhammad is either a liar or he is ignorant.
