The Benefits of the Deal

Reader comment on item: Reservations about the Trump Peace Plan

Submitted by Stein (United States), Jan 29, 2020 at 21:43

The main benefits of the Deal are:

• Dissolving the Green Line
• Promoting international recognition of Israeli towns in Judea Samaria
• Making benefits for Palestinianists conditional
• Spotlighting how Palestinianists are responsible for preventing peace
• Gaining support of neighboring Arab governments

I will feel relief when Israeli Jewish citizens in Judea Samaria are no longer under martial law in their own aboriginal sacred ancestral Land.

Daniel Pipes replies:

You are assuming that a U.S. initiative opposed by the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, and nearly government in the world is the final word. It is not.
