Reader comment on item: The Death of Soleimani and Its Consequences

Reader Jon brings up a fascinating side bar of the issues percolating around what is being prepared for the Middle Eastern paradigm. The al-Quds leader was by all appearances in the midst of orchestrating elements of changing the paradigm in the region and potentially creating the mechanism that would trigger a response to the mayhem he obviously manipulated all too well. Getting America out of Baghdad, indeed out of the region altogether, would have given the proxy war he was orchestrating the next boost of escalation that would have been difficult for Israel to defend against.

The eulogy may have been telling those who are in the need to know that they need to continue in spite of their loss; the darker intentions to be a legacy of unfulfilled expectations.
