Reader comment on item: Fifty Years of Fascination
in response to reader comment: What about the Treason committed by the US?

Submitted by Jeff (United States), Oct 14, 2019 at 11:07

Sorry you were so disappointed by this article. It's shocking when someone writes an article on a subject other than one that interests you isn't it? I once read an article on English terriers. It was awful. I think it should have been on German shepherds.

Treason: the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance

Please tell me, what dictator or Middle Eastern tribal leader to whom, as a US citizen, I owe allegiance.

I hadn't noticed that Saudi turn toward Russia, but I hope the Saudis are every bit as good a friend to Russia as they've been for us. Please don't tell me this means they will close the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding in Washington. That would crush us.
