Islam is the enemy

Reader comment on item: Regime Change and Nationalism

Submitted by Charles Martel, Jun 5, 2019 at 01:04

As evidenced by their population's embrace of 21st Century notions and norms, neither Russia nor China pose an existential threat to the continuity of Western civilization. Contrast this with almost any Islamic majority nation and the distinctions are stark.

Russia does not fling gay citizens from the rooftops nor stone to death people accused of adultery or witchcraft. China does not force women to cover themselves from head to toe so as to resemble nightmarish ninja beekeepers. Nor do China or Russia model their societal governance upon iron age, atavistic constructs based in superstition and barbarism.

Only Islam inflicts such horrors from the past into the present. As evidenced by more than fourteen centuries of cautionary tales, as well as the damage done to modern cultures in Western Europe and elsewhere, we underestimate the threat posed by this distinctly evil death cult to our own greatest peril.
