The real problem is in Islamic societiesReader comment on item: Westerners in Trouble Who Convert to Islam Submitted by Prashant, Mar 10, 2018 at 01:24 Dear Dr Pipes, Indeed a lot of the people in non-Islamic societies convert to Islam. The fact of the matter is that if you give people freedom to think and act, every doctrine will find some converts. You see matters of belief are just that -- matters of belief. You can become a Muslim as long as you can convince yourself that quran's chapter 9 is indeed about peace. It is not that difficult. The problem is not that some people are converting to Islam. The problem is that Islam does not allow people to think freely and convert out of Islam. So you will rarely find Muslims converting out of Islam in Islamic societies. It is the duty of every free man and woman to oppose Islam at every point where it prevents freedom to think and freedom to act. The kind of propaganda and education that we need to challenge Islam is no different from the propaganda and education that won us the cold war against the communists. Unfortunately it is a race against time. We have to bring about a change in Islam before it grabs and holds any more land on this planet using questionable practices.
