Mr. Pipes commentary paints the worst case scenario regarding President Trump's intentions for recognizing Israel. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson clarified that the President's statement "did not indicate any final status for Jerusalem" and "was very clear that the final status, including the borders, would be left to the two parties to negotiate and decide." As an American who fully supports Jerusalem as being the eternal Capital of Jerusalem l give President Trump's motives to be genuine. President Trump has done what no other President has been willing to do by his decision. Rest assured if Trump deviates from his stated position myself along with millions of Americans will be the first to sound the alarm. Until then, rest in the fact he has kept all of his promises thus far made during his campaign.
