Great news from Austria about Burqa

Reader comment on item: Niqabs and Burqas Used Benignly

Dear Dr Pipes,

Associated Press reports that starting now all face coverings in public places in Austria are banned. Thus, ski masks off the slopes, surgical masks off the hospitals, and burqas etc. off the mosque and homes are now banned.

Most Muslim women that I know do not wear burqas. Some that I do not know do. But I do not know why.
I guess this ban in Austria is a good news for everybody including Muslim women.

It may be a bad news for the Muslim cool dudes who walk on city streets in weather appropriate comfortable dresses while the women with them are wrapped head to toe in hot Burqas. But that is a good news too because no one likes hypocrisy.
