Indifference is same as support

Dear Dr. Pipes,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

However in this case even being indifferent to ISIS would just mean that Iran is justified to support Hezbollah against Israel.

Many people would decipher that if Israel (and the US) are going to support the ISIS against Iran then Iran is justified to give support to the Hezbollah since as long as Israel has to deal with a strong Hezbollah on the Lebanon border, Israel will not be able to divert the resources to fight Iran.

So when you ask Israel and the US to support ISIS against Iran then by that same analogy Iran ends up strengthening Hezbollah against Israel.

What do you think about this consequence of US and ISrael supporting ISIS ?
