2 states solution!

Reader comment on item: Breaking the Palestinians' Will to Fight

Here's the solution my friend:
1. Pull back to the 1948-1949 borders.
2. Get the world body and Israel to provide reparations. Its amazing how money can placate people.
3. Provide immigration quotas to Palestinians wishing to return.
4. Guaranteeing Israeli military security for Palestine.
5. Provide economic and humanitarian and cultural aid to the new country.
6. Most importantly, Israeli's have to admit to themselves, and only to themselves, that they share in the responsibility for the dispossession and sacrifice of these people and "lavish" them with as much aid that is possible. It was their benign passive sacrifice that allowed the age old dream of a Jewish state. Jews have to dig down deep on this one; it is key to peace.
7. Bring everyone, Abbas, Hamas, Hezbollah, to the bargaining table.
8. Another thing that is hard for Jews to accept. It is Israel and their alienation of the Muslims that is responsible for so much turmoil in the world!! The Jews are very intelligent and are great negotiators. There is absolutely no excuse for their inability to use those talents to solve this problem.
9. That's the solution. Biggest obstacle........is the time right?
10. Equally important, Israel takes the leadership role. Honestly identify what these people need, tell them what they need, and do it, God dammit!
11. PS: Recognition of Israel is UNnecessary. If Israel does the right thing in due time they will have recognition.
Sincerely, Alan Frank

How touchingly naive.
